The lighthouse as built in between 1904-1906 by the plans of German architect Walter Körteg. The lighthouse was constructed out of a wooden frame, by the company ''Julius Pintsch'' from Berlin.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.deutsche-biographie.de/sfz95986.html )〕 Formerly the lighthouse had a rotating beacon powered by 110 V.
